Mr. Charilaos (Haris) Kokkinos is a motivated engineer and dedicated numerical simulation enthusiast with a profound passion for emerging technologies, digital twins, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He embarked on his professional journey at CERN, the renowned European Organization for Nuclear Research, following the completion of his Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering studies at the University of Patras. At CERN, he assumed the role of a Finite-Element Analyst working with Digital Twins and multi-physics Finite-Element Analyses, delving into the intricate realms of electromagnetic-thermal-structural phenomena and physical testing of magnets.

He ascended to the position of Technical Manager at FEAC Engineering P.C., where under his leadership, FEAC achieved the prestigious 2014 ANSYS Hall of Fame Simulation Competition award and established itself as an official "SIEMENS Digital Industries Software" solution & technology partner. Throughout his career, Mr. Kokkinos has contributed his expertise in Digital Twins to a multitude of projects spanning a wide range of industries. His involvement in conferences as a presenter and reviewer, along with the acquisition of a national patent, showcases his commitment to advancing the field.

After graduating from the Polytechnic School, University of Western Macedonia, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, my studies continued to develop my CFD, AI, ML skills. Over the years, I obtained a Master of Science in Computational Mechanics from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and a Ph.D. from City University London, with a parallel placement as a code developer and researcher in the H2020 IPPAD project for Caterpillar (UK). These experiences provided me with proficiency in mechanical engineering methods, programming languages, and complex problem-solving. In my current role as a Lead Software Developer, I specialize in utilizing the SIEMENS Simcenter/NX Software Platform and Agile project management strategies for Cathodic Protection software development. I also work as a CFD Application Engineer, focusing on fluid dynamics and thermal analysis, particularly in Aerospace Flight Modeling. This role involves aerothermodynamic testing, which is crucial in aerospace vehicle design. With my comprehensive knowledge and practical experience, I'm motivated to pursue challenging positions in mechanical engineering that require skills in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Method (FEM), and software development.

Presently, Dr. Dimitrios Lampropoulos serves as a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Applied Mathematics, Hellenic Open University. His proficiency encompasses a wide spectrum of areas, including CFD analysis, hydrodynamics, fluid-structure interaction, and computational modeling, which he expertly employs to conduct simulations and extract invaluable insights. Throughout the course of Dr. Dimitrios Lampropoulos's career, he has amassed a track record of noteworthy accomplishments, which prominently feature his involvement in diverse CFD industrial projects, ranging from marine applications to wind turbine optimization and greenhouse tunnel designs.
